From 27 September to 1 October, Mirage will be taking part at Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings.
After the “forced” break in 2020, this edition will be an opportunity not only to present new collections, but also to change point of view and approach, with a completely redesigned new stand. The exhibition area, in fact, will have a new feel, making the visit experience more attractive and captivating, and able to give a complete picture of the Mirage world from all angles.
The most important requirement is to generate interest in visitors from widely different cultures and backgrounds. The stand, is, therefore, by its very nature, an object intended reveal itself, to display its architectural qualities and contents.
A new question has been introduced in the current transitional phase of the pandemic, that of the numbers of visitors, giving rise to the question: how to open up to the public in complete safety?
Mirage has responded to this question with a covered square, the classic symbol of community and trade, as well as a meeting area.
It’s a square space, therefore, intended as a balanced compromise between the necessary exhibition of the new porcelain slabs and a comfortable and relaxing space in which to recuperate face-to-face communication.
Entering into details, the project consists of a pavilion with imposing ceramic partitions that support and define a wide covered area for new trading activities and a mysterious, as well as attractive, central installation.
The stand also plays on the theme of permeability and the contrast between gravity and lightness. The massive perimeter partitions are, in fact, chipped and well-spaced apart, allowing for a dynamic interpretation to the external eye of what is happening on the inside. The same is true for the roof, composed of a double warping of wooden beams with a high and narrow section, which gradually dematerializes as you approach.
The new Mirage stand is a place that encourages a fluid passage, attracting and welcoming the visitor while avoiding any static interpretation and protagonism of its form, instead being inspired by the simplicity of the “return to the community” message.
We look forward to meeting you from 27 September to 1 October
pavilion 25, booth A266- B267.
